Lo'Ai Shatara has over a decade of experience providing cross-border tax services to corporate and individual clients.  My passion is helping clients navigate the complexities of international tax laws, ensuring they stay compliant while optimizing their tax strategies across multiple jurisdictions. Lo'Ai is an accountant and has worked in the accounting field for all of his career. He has lived in four provinces in Canada and traveled to more than 15 countries. 

Prior to starting Optimus Tax, Lo'Ai had worked at Big4 accounting firm, Ernst & Young as well as other small and medium accounting firms in their International Tax and Transactional Services. He worked with companies ranging from small/sole proprietors to large multinational corporations. 

Lo'Ai is married and enjoys spending time with family. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors.
